Preparing an initial project budget based on the initial project brief and design, working with the client to determine the commercial feasibility of the project.

COST PLANNING & VALUE ENGINEERING

Developing cost estimates in conjunction with the design development. We take a hands-on approach to working with the design team to develop a cost-efficient design, presenting cost and value reports to our clients at each stage of the project.

TENDERING

Bills of Quantities (BOQs) / Schedules of Rates (SORs) are produced and issued to contractors, with the returned tenders then analysed in meticulous detail to make a recommendation of the most economically advantageous tender for our client. We specialise in preparing accurate, compliant, and thorough BOQs / SORs which is paramount to achieving cost certainty at construction stage.

We have extensive experience negotiating with tendering contractors to ensure the most cost-effective tender is achieved for our clients.

COST MONITORING & CONTROL

During the construction stage, we will closely monitor and control the project costs until after the agreement of final account.

 

Minimising variations as a result of our hands-on involvement in the design and tendering process in order to achieve value for money and cost certainty.

 

Providing regular cost reports to our clients, highlighting all cost related matters in a concise and transparent fashion.

PAYMENT RECOMMENDATIONS & FINAL ACCOUNT NEGOTIATION

Conducting regular site visits to provide accurate and up-to date assessments of the work completed on site, resulting in a recommendation for payment to the contractor in line with the contract conditions.
